A group of us walked for Parkinsons and had a great day out and raised over £300!
It felt amazing to walk for a cause that has really helped my family.
I joined alone and ended up making some friends for life. We're all going back next year.
We are hugely grateful to South Hill Park and our sponsors for their support!
Please show them your support – we couldn't do this without them.
Enjoy a delightful walk around the historic South Hill Park grounds and North Lake.
This walk is fully accessible and ideal for wheelchairs and those with limited mobility or families with smaller children and pushchairs. It is approximately 5km, and you can break off whenever you wish.
Choose The Accessible walk to raise funds or just walk for fun and explore the nature trail and sculpture trail along the way. Information leaflets will be in your welcome pack when you check in on the day.
And you can go a little crazy and get your face painted for free!
The Forest Trail starts and ends in South Hill Park and takes you into the nearby beautiful Swinley Forest.
A clearly marked route through the forest takes you on a beautiful 7.5km route taking in the South Hill grounds and into Swinley Forest.
Please note: The Forest Trail is more challenging and not recommended for those in wheelchairs or with limited mobility.
Bracknell estate agent, Duncan Yeardley, has been kind enough to sponsor our Bracknell Together Walk for a number of years–and it's the charities who benefit.
After last year’s event, Nick Thring, MD of Duncan Yeardley, was delighted to present a prize cheque for £350 to Collette Reynolds, Head of Operations at Youthline, to celebrate their outstanding contribution to a wonderful event.
In fact Duncan Yeardley helped the charity in two ways as they also entered a team of their own in the ‘Bracknell Together Walk’ event, with Youthline as their chosen charity.
Our other sponsors, Peas and Carrots Ltd, The Village Hotel and the Rotary Club of Easthampstead all presented cash prices to other charity teams. We can only thank them for their outstanding support for our event!
